So you think inclusive rugby might be for you?
Bristol Bisons train twice weekly from September through to June, taking approximately 6–8 weeks break during high summer.
Our main training sessions take place on Thursday evenings 7–9pm at Clifton RFC, approximately 5 minutes from J17 of the M5 motorway. These sessions are structured by our coaching team and will incorporate everything from; basic handling and tackling to the advanced rules of Rugby Union. We will always take into account your ability, experience and the level at which you wish to participate – there is no pressure to be involved in full contact training until you feel comfortable and safe to do so.
We also run a weekly touch and rugby skills session on Monday nights. These sessions are located in Redcatch Park, South Bristol, during Daylight Saving Time (Spring/Summer) and are floodlit at Clifton RFC in Autumn/Winter. Monday training is a little less formal, with lower attendance, and a focus predominantly on fitness, handling and basic rugby skills – we would recommend coming if you’re interested in joining the club but want to work on your confidence, understanding of the rules or meet people before hand.
