On Thursday 15 August, the Bristol Bisons welcomed over 60 players to Clifton RFC for our annual open training session.
As Bristol and the surrounding areas’ only inclusive gay-friendly ruby team, the Bristol Bisons aim to break down barriers and support individuals – especially those from the LGBT community – into playing rugby.
Held annually, the open training session allows people of all rugbying abilities to come along to meet the team and learn the basics of the sport we love. This year’s session was the largest ever with over 60 people from across Bristol and West County attending.
Becoming part of the team is easy, just come along to any training session!
The Bristol Bisons train every Thursday from 19:00 to 21:00 at Clifton RFC, Cribbs Causeway, Station Road, Bristol BS10 7TT.
